SSG 15 & 17: Maintenance Delivery and Asset Operations

The delivery of effective maintenance is a key element in ensuring the reliability of an asset through its Life Cycle with optimal use of resources. This SSG covers the management of maintenance activities including both preventative and corrective maintenance management methodologies. It includes definition of maintenance specifications and schedules, maintenance execution procedures, procedures for missed maintenance and the capture and utilisation of maintenance and inspection measurements and results. Asset operations refers to the processes used by an organisation to operate its assets to achieve the business objectives. It includes the development of an asset operations strategy to define the approach and resources required to manage and implement operations, and a plan to deliver the strategy.
