The Institute of Asset Management North American Conference 2024 is taking place in Denver, USA, at The Westin, Denver, Downtown from 21-24 October. 

The conference provides the opportunity for our asset management community to engage with speakers, delegates, and exhibitors about the latest developments in asset management. 

The conference theme for 2024 is "A Big Year for Asset Management".

This is a big year for asset management. The global asset management community has been working on some important changes to asset management standards and frameworks which will be published this year and the IAM celebrates its 30th birthday.     

Revised ISO Asset Management 55000 & 55001 standards as well as new asset management standards:  

• ISO 55011 - Guidance for development of public policy to enable asset management 
• ISO 55012 - Guidelines on people involvement and competence
• Status: Under development- ISO 55013 - Guidance on the management of data assets  
• Anticipated updates to ISO/TS 55010 - Guidance on the alignment of financial and non-financial functions in asset management  
• A revised GFMAM Asset Management Landscape   
• Revisions to the IAM asset management knowledge resources including the IAM Anatomy

Conference ticket prices are listed below.  It is cheaper to join the IAM as a member and attend the conference than to buy a non-member ticket. Join the IAM here. 

An early bird discounted rate is available if you book before 28 June 2024.  For non-members to take advantage of the early bird rate, you need to join the IAM here.

What is Included in my Conference Ticket? 
 
Day one (21 October) of the conference will start with conference registration, followed by the opening drinks reception that opens at 17:00. This drinks reception will enable delegates to network and meet conference attendees in an informal environment before the main sessions start. 

On days two (22 October), three (23 October), and half of day four (24 October), delegates will hear from keynote speakers and will be able to choose from three streams – organizational asset management transformation, risk analysis and organizational impacts and innovation and the future of asset management. Our speakers will share knowledge and insight from a wide range of professional backgrounds. A full-day program will be available to delegates on both days. 

On the evening of day two (22 October), there will be an awards drinks reception during which we will celebrate the North American IAM Excellence Awards 2024. The winners of these awards will be announced at the drinks reception. It will be an excellent opportunity for you to celebrate with conference delegates and colleagues the advances in asset management made by individuals and organizations across North America. More information on how to submit an award entry will be announced soon. 

On the evening of day three (23 October), there will be a drinks reception to celebrate the IAM turning 30.

During the entire conference, there will also be opportunities to interact with exhibitors about the latest developments in asset management. 

In addition to the drinks reception on day one, the awards reception, and the IAM turning 30 drinks reception, your conference ticket also includes breakfast and lunch on days two and three. On day four, there will be a lighter lunch and refreshments throughout the conference. 

Optional Professional Development Workshop 21 October 

We are also planning a professional development workshop on day one (21 October) of the conference, which will take place before the drinks reception.  There will be an additional charge for this workshop.  This will allow workshop attendees to advance their asset management knowledge and skills.  More information will be announced soon.
