IAM Qualifications FAQs

IAM Certificate:

The IAM Certificate costs USD 325. This fee covers the registration process and one examination attempt. If a candidate needs to resit the examination, the same fee applies for the registration and subsequent examination attempt.

The IAM Certificate consists of five compulsory modules, and the examination comprises 60 multiple-choice questions.

IAM Diploma:

The IAM Diploma costs USD 455. This fee covers the registration process and one examination attempt. If a candidate needs to resit the examination, the same fee applies for the registration and subsequent examination attempt.

The IAM Diploma consists of twelve compulsory modules, with an examination comprising 70 multiple-choice questions.

The courses are delivered online, and examinations in Uganda are administered through the Pearson VUE online examination system.

Registration Process:

If you are not currently an IAM paid member, you will first need to create a free My IAM account using the link below:

This account will enable you to log in to the IAM portal and complete the registration process for the IAM qualification desired.
