IAM Uganda Chapter Committees

The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Uganda Chapter currently operates through the following standing committees:

Membership and Community Committee (MCC)

The Membership and Community Committee is responsible for strengthening the Chapter's membership base, member experience, engagement, retention and sense of professional community.

Qualifications, Training and Professional Development (QTPDC)

The Qualifications, Training and Professional Development Committee supports the development of asset management capability and professional competence within Uganda.

Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement Committee (PSEC)

The Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement Committee is responsible for strengthening the Chapter's relationships with organisations and institutions that contribute to the development of asset management in Uganda.

Technical, Research and Knowledge Committee (TRKC)

The Technical, Research and Knowledge Committee promotes technical excellence, knowledge development, research and knowledge sharing in asset management. 

Each Committee comprises:

  • A Chair appointed by the Board
  • A Vice Chair appointed by the Board
  • Committee members approved by the Board
  • A designated Board Liaison and
  • Other approved members or co-opted experts where appropriate.
