1. Do I need to be an engineer to join IAM?
No. IAM membership is multidisciplinary and welcomes professionals from engineering, management, finance, planning, policy, operations, and related fields involved in asset management.
2. What types of membership are available?
IAM offers both Individual and Corporate (Organisational) membership categories designed to cater for professionals as well as organisations seeking to strengthen their asset management practices.

4. How do I become a member of the IAM Uganda Chapter?
Follow the steps below to become a member of the IAM Uganda Chapter:
- Review the available membership categories and select the one that matches your qualifications and experience.
- Fill in the IAM Uganda Chapter membership registration form using the link: https://forms.gle/PJ7dMxnsip56zSA37
- Pay the applicable annual membership fee through any of the official accounts listed in the registration form.
- Submit your bank payment receipt or the transaction ID to the Chapter for verification via chapter@uganda.theiam.org
- Once your payment is verified, you will receive confirmation of your membership and guidance on accessing member benefits.
