ISO NWIP Asset Management, Notification of meeting 26 - 30 April 2010, London

Dear Sir/Madam,

Following advice from ISO Central Secretariat concerning the results of the ballot on the New Work Item proposal on Asset Management, BSI now wishes to notify you of a meeting that will be held to progress this project.
 
At this time, the ISO Technical Management Board (TMB) is still giving consideration:
- as to whether a Project Committee should be established to take this work forward, or if it should be managed by some other means, and
-  if the work should be given the status of an approved work item or be started at the preliminary stage  
 
The plans for the meeting are not in any way intended to prejudice the ISO/TMB's decisions, which are expected in January. Instead, they are intended to reduce delays to the start of this work, while complying with the requirement for TC, SC or PC meetings that 4 months prior notification should be given.
 
Consequently we would advise that arrangements are being made to hold the meeting:
- during 26 - 30 April 2010
- at a venue in Central London, in the UK.
 
Further details of the meeting (the exact venue, local hotels etc.) will be sent to you in the New Year.
