Research and innovation activities are seen as key activities for the IAM – both the Patrons Group and the Research Committee are committed to the development and dissemination of leading edge thinking, methods and solutions in Asset Management.  This involves liaison with academic bodies as well as commissioning of specific research and development projects.

The IAM is actively trying to broaden its reach and involve interested people worldwide.
