The IAM runs a range of themed discussion Forums through a programme of workshops/seminars and state-of-the-art web-based facilities. These enable groups to debate specific topics of interest, share experiences and develop useful guidance material that can be shared across the wider asset management community.
Discussion Forums are the starting place for sharing experience, suggestions, questions and answers regarding use of a variety of IAM products and services; they also provide the natural home for special interest groups wishing to communicate with like-minded individuals.
Note that you have limited access after joining the IAM as an Affiliate (still called Web Member on the database link) (free of charge) but that full participation requires you to be a full Member (in one of the other categories). Join Us

Asset Information Guidelines |
||
|
The IAM is pleased to make available our initial thoughts on the development of guidelines for information relating to infrastructure assets - the Asset Information Guidelines (AIG). Currently a draft set of guidelines, we are making it availble on this forum in order to encourage debate and views from a wide a range of stakeholders involved in the management of physical infrastructure assets. Your input to this discussion forum are very much appreciated and will help us to gauge interest from the asset management community as to the development of a formal published set of AIG documents. In order to seed these discussions we have proposed a number of questions - however please do not feel limited in your contribution. All inputs are welcomed - as are volunteers to participate in any future project team! Stephen Morris - IAM Deputy President |
